Hypnotherapy utilises a relaxing state to help you communicate with your unconscious mind or inner wisdom in order to help you understand differently what is happening before seeking resolution and the achievement of your goals. Such resolution, amongst many ways of moving forward, may come from the letting go of historical behaviour or understanding the intent of a past event differently.
It is in the unconscious mind that our beliefs, values, emotions and long term memory are stored and issues in the unconscious mind often override logic.
It is important to know that whilst participating in hypnotherapy you remain in control throughout because nothing happens which violates your values … otherwise you would simply return to a conscious state.
Whilst you are in relaxed state, I work with the information we have discussed during our initial consultation to speak to your unconscious mind, to help you understand what is happening before agreeing solutions to help you achieve your goals.
