Are Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) an instant cure?
Both therapies aim to help you overcome the issues you face. Through trance, hypnotherapy will enable you to access resources, otherwise untouched and CBT aims to help you understand the structure of your thinking and behaviour before knowing how it can be changed. In both cases, Hypnotherapy and CBT have been shown to be effective methods of treating a number of different conditions.
Does Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) work for everyone?
Different people will get different results from their therapy experience. Recent studies from the International Centre for Clinical Excellence show that 80% of clients in Counselling and Therapy end up better off than those who don’t seek help.

What questions should I ask when choosing a counsellor or therapist?
You may find the following questions useful to ask:
- How many sessions will I have?
- What type of therapy do you offer?
- What happens if I miss a session?
- Will the therapy be confidential?
I will discuss and agree all of these matters with you during your initial consultation.
